Homework Logs will be sent home at the start of each half term with a new Activity Matrix displayed at the front or on the last clean page. Children should choose to do at least 6 of the tasks/activities displayed on the matrix. Their Homework Logs should be brought back to school at the end of each half term to share with Mrs Devine, Mrs Burston and their classmates. We love to see all the learning and exploring children have been doing at home. Mrs Yilmaz also gives out a special homework award to a chosen winner at the end of each Half Term! Good luck everyone!
Reading Books & Reading Records
New reading books will be handed out on a Monday and kept at home in your child's reading folder/bag alongside their reading record. After children have read and enjoyed talking about the stories or non-fiction texts at home, an adult should sign and make any relevant comments in the reading record so that Mrs Devine and Mrs Burston can give further support at school and consider the next suitable book to give to them. Children should bring their reading book and reading record back at school on a Friday inside their folder/bag.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
