Year 5 Notices
Swimming - Wednesday's
- A contribution of £2 weekly is requested for swimming.
Key Dates:
Wednesday 2nd February - Fairtrade Breakfast Day.
- Children will learn about Fairtrade on this day as part of Fairtrade Fortnight and be treated to a special breakfast using Fairtrade items (children will be involved in making the food also!)
Thursday 3rd February - World Book Day
- Children are invited to attend school dressed as their favourite book character or to come into school dressed in clothes they would like to read in!
- We also want to see photos uploaded on Google Classroom on this year's theme of 'Extreme Reading'. Where is the most unusual place you can be pictured reading? e.g. In a tree, on top of a hill, whilst riding a bike (somewhere safe!).
Tuesday 29th March - Yr 5/6 Hockey Competition
- Several children from Year 5/6 will be chosen to attend a Hockey Competition in March. Details will be shared nearer to the time.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
