In Nursery, children will complete the following skills related to Science:
Is able to make healthy choices about food, drink, activity and toothbrushing
Uses all their senses in hands-on exploration of natural materials
Explores collections of materials with similar and/or different properties
Talks about what they see, using a wide vocabulary
Plants seeds and cares for growing plants
Understands the key features of the life cycle of a plant and an animal
Is beginning to understand the need to respect and care for the natural environment and all living things
Explores and talks about different forces they can feel
Talks about the differences between materials and changes they notice
