At Riverside Primary, we have Buddies and Head Buddies who support the children at break and lunchtimes in and around the school. Those children who would like to become a Buddy have to complete an application, attend an interview with Mrs V Badminton, our Pastoral and Guidance Leader and attend a full week of training, in order to become a qualified Buddy or Head Buddy.
Here are a few quotes from some of our Buddies:
Headbuddies Katie and Owen
Katie "I like to help the school so that there is no bullying. I like to help the other buddies so that they know what they are doing. I just like to help the school."
Owen "When I was a buddy last year, I wanted to become a Headbuddy and I fell that I have made the school a better place. I also like to support the buddies in their duty and cover if any are absent."
