At Riverside we believe that Design Technology is a subject for everyone. Our curriculum provides a wide variety of opportunities for children as they progress from Early Years to Year 6. There is the opportunity to develop progressively in many different aspects of learning, whether they be physical, academic, creative or communicative skills. Units of work follow the process of exploration, design, making and evaluation. We give our children essential life-skills experience in, for example, food technology. We relate our topics to specific career connections and the importance of teamwork generally in the workplace.
