Pupils who attend this club are regarded as 'sports leaders' in our school. We meet on every other Thursday in the Reception classroom.

Sports Councillors provide sports activities for classes in the yard at break and lunchtimes and update the website with sports activities and sports achievements! They also ensure that the resources in the cupboards are stored tidily and correctly. Resources have been audited by pupils in the indoor and outdoor PE cupboards and sports leaders help manage the sports premium funding budget in order to purchase resources for the school. Sometimes they will lead parts of assemblies on sports events and they help to lead Sports Day for the whole school. We received the Gold Award for sports in July 2019 and we are aiming to maintain this standard.
